My Take
I love Prodigy and will continue to use Prodigy in the future. I love that I can individually assign questions to each student at their level. I love that the questions are connected to my state's learning targets. I recommend Prodigy to teachers and parents because Prodigy does a wonderful job of engaging students in math.
How I Use It
My students use Prodigy for at least 15 minutes each day. While on Prodigy my students complete math problems that I have assigned for them that is related to the content or review of the content. If my students complete my assignment, Prodigy gives them math problems at the level that Prodigy believes that they are at based upon a pre-test and usage. Prodigy understands when a student is struggling with a concept and will move to a different concept before returning to that concept. This helps the kids from becoming frustrated with the questions. My students enjoy battling each other and earning pets/clothing.
