Great resource for differentiation!
This is great for differentiation, not for teaching. It's also a great tool for assessments because it gives you clear data in real time!

Students love math when it is with Prodigy.
Student engagement is amazing. It works well as a whole class activity and I can differentiate the questions based upon student needs. Each student feels included and can compete on a level playing field.

Creating Prodigies
The website has a very doable format to set up assignments for a whole class or for individual students. The data that comes from assignments and demonstrates student progress is organized and is a great visual to get a snapshot of how students are performing.

Prodigy is AMAZING! My students love the program. Many play it every single day.
I love it. I like that Prodigy doesn't just give computation problems. Prodigy gives word problems with educational vocabulary built in. I also like that the students can compete against each other or strive to hit the next level on their own.

Prodigy is by far the most popular math game my students have ever used!
Teachers can customize the math skills for students to practice within the game. It is super easy to assign content to specific students or the entire class.

Students LOVE it and it even gets families involved!
I use this for reinforcement on topics we have already covered however if students answer more questions then they have been assigned they will come across content they are not familiar with. Prodigy has hints built in and if students take advantage of the features I have noticed a jump in their retention and learning. When I changed careers into teaching I needed to take standardized tests to get/keep my certification and I exclusively used Prodigy to study. That also helped keep my students engaged because they knew I was playing at home. I let students know what 'world' I sign into at home and they look for me! It's great for engagement and I have had parents and siblings ask me to set accounts up for them as well.

The most engaging math product out there.
This is the most engaging math product I have ever used. I have students who enjoy using it all year. With any other product they are motivated at first and then after a few weeks they get tired of it. Since Prodigy is more game like than anything else they like using it all year. It also helps that Prodigy continues to update their site and always has new things for students to explore.

It is great for motivating students who like to play games. They love to work on this when I am out and if they have any additional class time!
I think that it can be utilized as a good teaching tool but should not replace teaching entirely. I used it much more as an intervention tool when I taught intervention, but now I still like to use it as a good motivational tool for my students. It has good reports and is also nice since all of these reports and assignment creations are free to teachers! It does have pay parts that students can get extra monsters and also that they can get memberships to boost their stats, but it is still fun to play without a membership. My only real critique is when a students misses a problem it has a very good explanation of it but the students can just skip this and not learn from it. I would like to see a video play that they watch to show them how to solve it so they can learn it (this could be a choice option since not all teachers may want this).
