As a teaching tool I have a ton of different 'creator' sites linked on my Symbaloo. Now, when a student needs digital ideas I direct them to my shortcut and they can easily choose between creating a poster, movie, recording, etc.

With Symbaloo, you can create a virtual "placemat" of web links for students. There is a lot of flexibility in how you can sort and arrange individual tiles (links) and use with students. With the tiles, you can link websites, articles, videos, news sources, radio stations - you name it! You can also customize the tiles with the images, colors, and titles you want. This is a quick way to assemble a lot of links for students for easy access to exactly the content you want them to see.

Love that I have option of uploading images for links and/or use words to describe the sites. Can color code tiles, allowing them to be further visually organized for students who need that support.

SymbalooEDU is a user friendly website that allows teachers and students to curate content in user friendly boards called webmixes. Webmixes can be shared with others, set as home screens on computers, and embedded in websites. Setting up a basic SymbalooEDU webmix is easy. Finding the best resources can take some time to curate, but once collected, webmixes take the search time out of instruction time. Symbaloo works especially well with younger students and those who struggle with literacy. It's visual interface allow students to navigate to sites with a single click. As the Symbaloo community grows, so does the ease of adding tiles to webmixes.

This is a easy way to provide links for students. It is easy to add and categorize them. It is a visual way to find the links especially for young students. There are also some pre-made pages to link to for your pages. It is easy and quick to create a page of links for your students to use to access sites they need for class. You can also add tabs and create separate pages/tabs for different topics or subjects.
