Unscrupulous company

It honestly does not have a good curriculum or goal or lesson path. Hi. There have been attempts to charge my debit card ending in 0196 for almost 2 years now for a charge of $19.95. I entered the membership over two years ago and this debit card is expired but still your company continues to charge it constantly. Please stop and my membership delete my account information.

Not very interesting

It's not interesting, which means that students are easy to get bored and their attention would move on to other things. The curriculum setting is not clear too.

Very glitchy and confusing for students

I think that while it is beautiful, it could use some more work.

I really like how engaging it is for a younger audience. Being able to find that balance between fun and learning is very important and I feel like AdaptedMind comes close to that. I also like how each students strength and weaknesses are accounted for.

I liked how unique it is and how it is very student driven in the sense that problems are created from the students strengths/weaknesses. I think it will be able to hold a students attention more than a traditional way of doing problems. A good idea (might be too distracting) but to have some sort of point system for how many problems are correct. These points can then be used to buy some sort of character or something along the lines of that. This may be a little distracting in the sense that kids will be focused on the prizes but I know it will get them wanting to work!

Great tool for the classroom but must be watched to not get off task.

I think this is a great tool to use in the classroom. I think that it is a bit cartoonish at times and can get distracting.

Great visuals and very entertaining!

Overall, I think this resource is a really good one that allows for having fun and learning at the same time. This resource gives kids the opportunity to further their knowledge while being interested and not bored. This will definitely keep kids motivated for learning and they will want to keep learning.

Clunky interface holds this program back

Looks very attractive. The clumsy interface holds it back. Also the program mixes a lot of levels of learning. For instance, from counting single digits it goes straight to reading the clock. A kid counting a monsters teeth is suddenly confronted with a movie about neurotransmitters. There are many more of these examples. I will stop the program for now.

Disappointment, will not continue

The limitation on how much time a child can engage is a huge downfall. Everyone has different learning styles and many children need to immerse themselves in their interests in order to learn most effectively. Limiting this is limiting learning and self direction. That is the biggest down side. The confusing processes logging in and starting sessions, the loading time is ridiculous between every screen, use of 'grade level' to start is irrelevant for some. Would be better to start by ascertaining where a child is needing/wanting to start. Using generalisations about screen time needing to be limited etc is harmful in so many ways; many need screens to communicate, read, engage meaningfully and can be the most effective relevant way to learn etc. Promoting reduction of or judging screen time is ableist.

My child loves it.

My daughter LOVES this program so far. In 2 weeks she completed 30%. Although she will be in 4th grade she needs to catch up a lot during this summer. So we started reviewing from 2nd grade. I found this program very useful for practice. I don't like math videos much and explaining everything by myself. Games are nice, characters and rewards are wonderful. I didn't have any problems with AdaptedMind so far.

Do NOT waste your time or money!! Possibly Fraudulent!!

Everything about this is junk. There is no way this is created by Ivy Leaguers-nothing professional about it. The website design is not fluid or very user friendly. The game model is ok and the graphics are neat but the actual material and learning is annoying. Watching youtube videos and then answering questions after them is not the interactive way I want my kiddos to learn. They’ve learned more from PBSKids. And the automated voice reading the questions is awful. Again not made my an Ivy League programmer. Also watch your billing once you’re signed up. I’ve read lots of complaints online about customer still being charged after cancelling. I just cancelled now after several months of meh. So I plan to watch my bank statement. Again, don’t waste your time or money, there are TON of better sites out there.
