I love this for STEM activities with my students. They love it too.

This is an excellent teaching tool. My children love to start here. My older students - grades 3 and up are less interested, but the younger ones adore it!

I LOVED this website as an introduction to coding for elementary students! Students were able to work at their own pace and I was able to get easy to read data about where they were at on the program.

My overall opinion bout this project as a teaching tool is that it is very useful for my 21st century learners in pretty much any grade level at the elementary school setting. I really enjoyed watching students become excited and engaged. You get to see your students critically think, problem solve, and be able to think ahead. You also get to see your students collaborate with one another and talk through their steps and explaining to their peers without actually doing it for them. or giving them the answer.

I used the s program as the coding introduction on the first day of Hour of Code because of all the choices available, it seemed the most user-friendly. Some students finished all lessons the first day. Some finished in two days. I had them move on to other Hour of Code sites. No other site kept track of student progress as Kodable did. Each lesson/step built on the previous and scaffolded my many English learners and my girls. I wanted to have my students continue the lessons, but the cost of $600 was prohibitive. . My students and I were very disappointed.

I think this is a great website to use as a teacher and would highly recommend it

Excellent introductory programming site!

This is a great introduction to coding for young learners. The video lessons on the Kodable website are great tools for teaching the different functions and to relate the drag and drop picture coding to writing lines of code.

It is an excellent teaching tool because it forces them to think outside of their comfort zone.

My K-1 population loves it. It is simple enough to get the students going and experiencing CS basic skills.
