Great tool for reinforcement and practice of vocabulary words.
Quizlet is a great tool for reinforcement of vocabulary words. It's a great tool, but the paid subscription allows you to see who has worked on your sets which can be very helpful in knowing how much students are using. They have access to the site 24 hours a day and on mobile devices and that is a big plus.

Fun and easy way for students to build their vocabulary. Not only can students study vocabulary words through reviewing notecards, but the can also play games.
This is a wonderful tool for students to use when studying since many students now prefer digital tools rather than actual index cards in which they can lose.

This is a solid tool for students to use for independently memorizing facts such as definitions of vocab words.
I think this is an excellent tool for students who need practice on their own. The only thing I don't like about it is that if students input poor or inaccurate definitions, it helped them study bad information. This set a few of them up for disappointment because they thought they spent a lot of time studying, but it wasn't necessarily helpful studying. I think this works best when students have definitions from the teacher so they can be sure they're practicing with good information.

QUIZLET - AN excellent learning tool that can be used in and or out of the classroom.
I love this program and have been using it for a couple of years now by putting the vocabulary review terms onto the site. The students love it because it helps them with their homework. The students find they don't have to take their books home to review for a test because the vocabulary terms are already available to them through Quizlet. Quizlet is great for ELL, low literacy, and special needs students because they are able to have the vocabulary words read to them out loud which is very beneficial in helping them to retain the information. The games that are available for the students to play keep them interested because the students want to beat the timers. Quizlet is free and it is one of the most valuable tools that I've used in my 15 years of teaching.

This site provides good review for various history topics. It is a bit overwhelming at first but once you get use to it it works.
I used this site as a practice site for upcoming tests and to familiarize students with formal testing, particularly
in the area of AP US History. At first I did find it overwhelming with so much information and testing materials but
got over that quickly. Students like self testing and comparing how they do over a period of time.

I love Quizlet for my advanced students.
I love the practicality of this app. It takes the place of note cards and notebooks that are used to store knowledge on a subject. This app lets you add your own questions and answers and take them with you where ever you go.

Great study tool!
I love this product. It's a great study tool for students. Kids love this website because they can download the app on their phones. They like the fact that they can shuffle the flashcards to make sure they really know the material. Also, it's great for struggling readers because the computer will read aloud the flashcards and their answers. This site also allows students to generate practice tests. Overall, it's great tool for the classroom!
