My Take
Quizlet is a great tool for reinforcement of vocabulary words. It's a great tool, but the paid subscription allows you to see who has worked on your sets which can be very helpful in knowing how much students are using. They have access to the site 24 hours a day and on mobile devices and that is a big plus.
How I Use It
I use Quizlet as an added activity for reinforcement in the classroom and for practice at home. Students can work with vocabulary words in a variety of ways and at their own pace. Students can also use it on their cell phones. I have students prepare for FBLA competitions using the resources they find on Quizlet. Students have access to all the vocabulary sets loaded on Quizlet.

Life saver
Quizlet is a great way to prepare and study for a test. Personally, I have used it many times in preparation for an exam and it has never let me down. I will say that Quizlet is most helpful when you have to memorize; their flashcards make it easy to go through material fast. It's a bit disappointing you know have to pay for certain features that used to be free, which is why my review is not a full 5 stars. But Quizlet certainly has been there for me during exam season.

makes flashcards way more engaging
Quizlet is a great resource as a teaching tool because it allows students to become more engaged in the learning process because it is more interactive than traditional flashcards. Additionally, students can choose which type of review activity works best for them which helps set them up for success. There is also an option to start a live review game for the entire class which creates competition and reinforces the key terms.
