I think Quizlet is a great tool, but I do think that a lot of work is required to use it in the best way possible. When I create study sheets/guides for my students in Quizlet, I spend quite some time putting together all the questions and answers. It is a process that gets easier and faster each time, but it can still take up quite some time. However, once the information has been put into Quizlet, the learning is like playing a game. There are multiple ways of learning the information such as flashcards, writing, or multiple choice. This means that students can find the way that works best for them when they are learning. Overall great experience.

Quizlet has helped me to practice learning terms, especially in language courses. One thing I don't like about Quizlet is how some students may be able to use it in inappropriate ways for exams.

Overall, I really love everything that Quizlet has done and is doing. I really like that if students have created sets for the class beforehand, it will save them and allow others to study from them, which saves a tremendous amount of time.

Quizlet is a great tool for teachers to utilize as it makes reviewing terms, dates and other facts less of a hassle. Teachers can create a set of digital index cards for specific subjects, chapters, and terms and link it to the entire classroom as a resource, making classwide review and discussion easier. Because the means of the tool is digital that means that there is no need for teachers to go through the hassle of printing out worksheets with the terms on it and both students and teachers can save paper by not having to use index cards. From a student perspective the tool is also great because there are tons of ways to review the content, some in the traditional multiple choice and fill in the blank format, but also traditional methods of index card/flash card studying.

I think Quizlet is a good tool to use and can really help out in studying. It is a convenient, centralized place to store all your study cards and to go back for review.

My overall opinion of Quizlet as a teaching tool is it is great to get students engaged in a topic but cannot be used without teachers explaining the concepts further. Students often have difficulty understanding some technical terms, so having them practice the word and its meaning on Quizlet is excellent. But the student cannot always know the basics to do well, so it is a great support tool, but not the best tool for the student to use.

My account was deleted without cause leading to a disruption in service which affected my staff and students. It is not a reliable product so I wouldn't recommend its use.
