My Take
Quizlet is a great tool for teachers to utilize as it makes reviewing terms, dates and other facts less of a hassle. Teachers can create a set of digital index cards for specific subjects, chapters, and terms and link it to the entire classroom as a resource, making classwide review and discussion easier. Because the means of the tool is digital that means that there is no need for teachers to go through the hassle of printing out worksheets with the terms on it and both students and teachers can save paper by not having to use index cards. From a student perspective the tool is also great because there are tons of ways to review the content, some in the traditional multiple choice and fill in the blank format, but also traditional methods of index card/flash card studying.
How I Use It
It is great to use to review terms and definitions for vocabulary and fact intensive courses and subjects. At it's core it works the same as flash/index cards where you enter a term, flip the card and then it's definition.
