Great interactive graphic organizers!
I've only used a small portion of the organizers on this website but have been very pleased with all of them. My kids like to complete their graphic organizers online and it helps build typing skills. The design of the organizers pushes them from one step to another so they see how the parts fit together to form the whole. It also focuses on the one area they're working on so that it takes up the whole screen and they don't get confused or have to struggle to read the print. When they finish they're organizer, they can print it out. My only complaint is saving the work is confusing and most of my kids couldn't do it and lost everything they had worked on in a previous period.

Wonderful web site for engaging young writers.
I love this literacy web site for all level K-12 students. There are a wide variety of activities that can be done in a single setting in a computer lab stand-alone, also activities that tie in and enhance the reading of specific books and other lessons. Various interactive activities stimulate student creativity, help develop on-line inquiry skills, teach how letters and words sound, how to write various forms of prose as well as poetry, create a drama map, evauate non fiction print, and organize thought for stories and essays.
The activites are high quality for all levels and can be expanded. Searching can be done by grade level, by keyword, by learning objective, and by theme. There are online and offline activities.
There are also tabs for professional development, and parent and afterschool resources. Teachers are able to contribute to ReadWriteThink as well.

Excellent Planning Resource for Teachers (5 Rating)
So, I may use this website a little differently than other language arts/literature/writing teachers, in that I don't use it to plan specific lessons on particular days. For my college writing classroom, though, I can easily browse and find the inspiration for an activity via a handout, article, or link. If you are using it for lesson plan, though, it is definitely an fantastic website.
The main attribute of this website is the thorough and well-organized files for lesson plans/teaching plans of all kinds; it's very simple to navigate and curate a specific search for whatever class or grade a teacher needs to find. I know many teachers who use this website; it's essentially for teachers, and it's a very valuable resource!

The lessons are organized, and describe the entire process including materials needed. There are often handouts and interactive facets of the lesson.

Quick, Quality Resource for Detailed Lessons & Materials
The website is well thought out, providing resources for teachers and students to help engage critical thinking around reading/language arts. The lessons are of high-quality and the materials for reproduction are thorough and designed with students in mind. The materials seem age appropriate, so you can search up or down grades as student need additional support.
The website seems to be indexed well by Google as I'm often brought to this website through my regular Google searching, an indicator of the quality of the website as well.
