This is an engaging and intuitive program that has greatly accelerated my student's math fact mastery.
I love the fact that this program is paced to meet the needs of individual students. This made it effective for the wide range of students found in any given class. The report section of the program was especially helpful when I went to meetings to discuss struggling students. The information provided was very helpful.

A move at your own pace on line Math program.
I really like that what each student does is significant to where their struggles are and moves them along at a pace that is reasonable to them. There is not the competition of who finishes first or everyone doing the same thing. It is a great target tool for those students who need more practice/repetition in the Math fluency while using fun grahics, sounds and games.

Best way to involve students in math fact fluency!
Reflex Math became the best way to have students practice fact fluency in the classroom. They were hooked on the product and loved the ability to customize their avatar and play games. I loved that it adapted to each child's individual need as necessary. I would have students completing the program faster than others, and I would then set them to complete the addition/subtraction skills to work on their fluency while others still worked on the multiplication/division piece. In the classroom, I noticed a huge different in student learning when it came to teaching multiplication and division concepts in the classroom. Students built their knowledge much more quickly, and were ready for harder concepts much sooner as well.
My class began with 15% fluency in multiplication and division, and ended the school year with 97% fluency. Every child, but one reached 100% fluency with the program. I would highly recommend this program as a different approach to drill and kill techniques.

This is a wonderful website for students to practice their basic math facts.
I think that ReflexMath is a great tool to use in the classroom. It can be used by all types of students and is highly engaging (I have played it myself a few times even). The one major concern that I have is the pricing. I am currently on a grant to use the program and would be very interested in using it again, but the current price is way more then what my district can afford. It serves my teaching in an indirect manor by helping the students learn their basic math facts... once we get into the operations in math it will speed up the process for the students and help them gain the confidence that they need to be successful in math.

Very motivating tool for fact fluency!
This is a great and fun tool to help children practice their math facts and become more fluent. Children are easily engaged with the graphics on this website, which is much better than flashcards. Students also get to see their progress with regards to fluency which I like because it helps them self-monitor. The report print-outs for teachers is a great tool that could be used to share with parents at conference time.

Student math fact fluency improved drastically!
Reflex individualizes student learning. Students are introduced to new facts through fact families, practice facts they've almost mastered and review facts they're already fluent with. The entire program is disguised as an incredibly fun virtual world. The student chooses and maintains an avatar through the store, learns new facts with quick mini lessons and puzzles, and can unlock interesting and fun games that involve multi-step thinking processes! My students love Reflex!
From the teacher perspective, it also has a great reporting system. The progress monitoring dashboard that lets me see how the class is doing as a whole and breaks the information down individually. It's really easy and fun to use!
