Dropbox Saves the Day time after time...
Dropbox is a time saver and such an easy way for students to share work with each other, the teacher or even to themselves. The ability to use dropbox, basically a cloud-based storage solution that resides on the web, the computer or a mobile device, allows students and teachers to be able to access files anytime, anywhere.

Essential app to have on every iPad!
In my opinion, this should be on every iPad. It's the single easiest way to get photos, videos and ePubs from a device to a computer. You can also use it to transfer photos and videos from one device to another. This makes it much easier to complete group and individual projects that use media.
It's a super simple interface and a perfect way to take media off an iPad and share it with others.

A must-have for iPad deployment
Dropbox (or a similar app) is a must-have for iPad deployment because it allows students and teachers to save their work easily from many apps, and access files that were saved at a computer. The only downside is that free space is limited and videos will consume that quickly. You can get more space with referrals or by purchasing it.

Great way to collect student work
Dropbox is a great site for collecting student work off the IPAD. It also has a web app that allows students to download files off the web. The automatic uploads make it super easy to use. I like how I can put worksheets into the public folder and have students download the work quickly. It helps me get closer to the paperless classroom.

Dropbox - Your Place in the Cloud
Dropbox is a great place to store and share documents in the Cloud. With the service being free, it's great for teachers to share documents w/o having to take the time to print everything out! It also serves as a great backup for your files!
There are Free, Pro, and Business plans available. The Free version starts the user off with 2 GB of space. A user can add 500 MB per referral up to 18 GB! I've found that I haven't had to purchase anything yet!
The other reason I find it useful is that I can get to my data anytime and anywhere via their mobile sites, apps, and the web! If I need to work on lesson plans or reports, I can still go on that weekend getaway and work on the documents. When I come back to work/school on Monday morning, the documents are synced and ready to go!
I also use it sometimes when I need to get to a document but I don't have access to my district's servers where the document in located. Dropbox serves as my own cloud storage service so that I'm not having to deal w/ VPN issues!

Share files among all your devices, no connections needed.
An easy (and free) cloud tool for sharing files among different devices.
The only drawback I can think of here is the storage. Beyond 2 GB of space and you'll have to start paying, which for the majority of users is not an issue, I'd imagine.
So unless you require extensive storage space Dropbox is an excellent option.

Essential Tool for Teachers, Essential Tool for iOS Classrooms
I disagree with the reviewer slightly in that Dropbox is simply an ESSENTIAL tool for Grade 2-12 students, particularly if you are using mobile devices in your classroom.
Dropbox is simple, and easy to learn. Teachers will find it useful for accessing teaching resources (leave the USB at home), and students will find it an essential app on iPads.
Many iPad apps are integrated with Dropbox, making it one of the BEST and EASIEST ways to transfer student created content from iPod Touch and iPad devices.
Students don't need to use the web version, as the teacher can take responsibility for setting up the class Dropbox account and folder system.
