I was able to provide access to a video that students could watch and review at home instead of having students come to class. Students enjoyed the convenience and were ready for their quiz.

Its a great way for students to keep up with their files from school to home. They can even get the app and do from their phones! I highly suggest for all educators also!

With the use of cell phones and tablets becoming more and more widely used in our society, this app only adds to what you can do on the educational side of things.

I use DropBox primarily to collaborate with other teachers, and share my own lesson plans. However, I have begun to use it in my honors Geometry classroom, and it is great because it really encourages student-centered work. The students love doing anything on the computer, and DropBox allows them to share their work with me and others, without time consuming practices such as saving to a USB drive.

Even though my students are older, they are always losing things. They can't find their flash drive; their computer died. There is always an excuse. But with Dropbox, the file is saved on the cloud, so there are no excuses.

This is the easiest way I've found to get content on and off of our school mobile devices. I created a generic account specifically for that purpose (I have my own for professional and personal files) and the kids use it to download templates or instructions and upload created content to a central place where myself (the teacher librarian) and the teachers can see it all in one place.

This is not an app that I have outwardly use in my classroom. Students see the result of the use of this app. I couldn't function without this app! Though I've not had my students do this, students could set up their own dropbox accounts, complete assignments, and share their work with me or other students. They would also be able to access the work they completed at home.

Dropbox is a great app to have on Student ipads. I have placed the app on all ipads in carts at our schools. High School students can sign up and use this app easily if they have an email address. They must have an email to create an account. It is very easy to upload photos, videos or documents and then have them retrieve the files/documents from a pc.

Great app, easy to use and love the free storage. Easy to access too

When used in conjunction with dropittome.com, students can submit work from any location on any technology
