This tool is feature-rich and allows for the creative expression of ideas. Having such a powerful tool can be advantageous to give the students lots of choices for creation and customization of presentations. However, it takes time to explore all the options and beginners can get overwhelmed.

Explain Everything is a great app smashing tool which allows the user to bring other media together to create great summative projects. It also allows teachers a quick and easy way to make tutorials and interactive lessons.

Not only is "Explain Everything" a great teaching tool, it is useful for student presentations, to demonstrate the thinking process, and for quick "show me" clips when working with small groups. "Explain Everything" is fun for teachers and students, easy to use, and presentations can be shown from a variety of resources. I use this app every day in my classroom.

This is a wonderful tool for lesson creation and presentation. It is also easy enough for students to use to create authentic presentations and share learning. This is also an excellent tool to use to record and post instruction in a flipped classroom setting.

When it comes to presentation tools on an iPad, Explain Everything contains features that mimic full size virtual whiteboards while allowing portability at a fraction of the cost (currently $2.99 in App Store). Explain Everything allows for creation of lessons to present to class, add to a blended or flipped resource site, or for students to demonstrate knowledge by creating their own presentation. Text, drawing, video, pictures, and even a laser pointer are included in the app that allows for exporting to video, PDF, email, or other repository sites or apps. The app gives an easy outlet to create mini lessons as needed to reinforce complex content. The only current downside is that when trying to add picture in picture video, the process is not intuitive.

Explain Everything is a great tool to use in any subject in the classroom. It allows the student or teacher to create essentially a slideshow complete with images, drawings, text, and narration. I love how easy it is to create videos and how simple (and free) it is to share or export the videos as well. This app serves kids because it pushes them to extend their learning through explaining concepts that we have covered in class or through creating something to show what they know about a concept. Students can share these videos with others. I also upload the videos to our classroom website, where students can access them for reference. This app also helps my teaching because it offers a form of formative assessment. I can use the student created videos to adapt my lesson plans for future learning.

I like it for recording lessons to reinforce learning. It's a great way to review,and help students who miss class. I often have student ask me, "What did I miss today?" I can send them them a link to my EE post Perfect for flipping the classroom. It did take a little time to learn how to use this app. Don't expect to jump right in. I didn't use the tutorials, but it might be a good idea before you get started. EE is not as intuitive as I would have expected.

Explain Everything is a highly versatile tool that allows students and teachers to create video using a variety of media - video, images, drawings, screen-captures, etc. Students can demonstrate learning, teachers can flip classrooms, and everyone can share their work!

I cannot stress enough how great this app is - Android and iOS, and blows any traditional presentation or whiteboarding methods out of the water.

This app is a great tool for teachers to create educational videos for students. Students can us it to create their own instructional videos or to show what they learned. The videos can be saved in the camera or on Drive. They can also be emailed. I like that there are many options for publishing or sharing the videos.
