I think it's an excellent tool that's aligned with CCSS math standards. I don't push the games, but instead talk to my students about the standards they've worked on and grown with.

I love that this program shows not just Common Core but also TEKS. It's rare that you can find a product suited to the Texas TEKS that is also engaging and that students truly enjoy using. I highly recommend DreamBox Learning!

I think Dreambox is a great tool. I wish we could use it as a tier I support for all students because I think every student would really benefit from using Dreambox. The data that is provided is actionable and in real-time. You can see specific skills your students are struggling with, create flexible small groups to target specific skills and relate it to the NWEA scores as well.

I do like this product as a teaching tool. Most games and lessons are great tools for the students to gain a better understanding of certain topics, but some of the directions or form of answer is not clearly stated. Another issue that I have seen is that the kids will just click through the games to get a green check mark and have a lesson completed. I like that this program can be differentiated for different level students and that the program changes to each student. I also like that I can assign specific lessons for certain kids depending on their needs. Dreambox also does a good job with flagging students that might be struggling with certain topics or are going through lessons too fast. This helps me keep track of how each student is progressing. Overall I like dreambox.

As a teacher, I appreciate anything that helps me differentiate instruction easily. Within five minutes, my entire class can have assignments tailored to their needs each week. Majority of my students love DreamBox and often will choose to do it when they have extra time and during indoor recess. I find that my struggling students do not enjoy it as much and struggle to stay focused. I have found that K-2 is one section and 3-5 is another section, so for my special needs students I am only able to go down to 3rd grade level standards which can still be difficult for them. I like that I am able to solve many of my own problems on DreamBox. I have used multiple levels of their supports from webinars to emailing to their Flex PD. DreamBox really seems to want teachers to be in control of their learning. I have never been formally trained on DreamBox nor have I ever attended a professional development about it. I find most of what I need on their website. The one thing I think DreamBox does need to work on is their Flex PD. I have done a few courses of it and I did learn a lot, but the lessons run slow and can be difficult to navigate. I tried to complete the Flex PD on multiple computers and operating systems and still had the same results. Again, the information was great. I think the lessons could be more streamlined. I really like how comprehensive DreamBox is and how easy it is to use. I am constantly learning new aspects of DreamBox through exploring and being vigilant in working through their resources. If you are a self starter and like to learn new things at your own pace then DreamBox will work well for you.

This product is a great supplement to classroom math instruction!

Our kids seem to enjoy it more than other math programs we have used.

I am a big fan of the product because students are being challenged and helping to scaffolding learning that students are proficient in yet.

I love using it in my classroom. The kids know how to log on quickly and get started. I can easily check the dash board to see my students progress and to give them new objectives, standards, and games.
