My Take
I love that this program shows not just Common Core but also TEKS. It's rare that you can find a product suited to the Texas TEKS that is also engaging and that students truly enjoy using. I highly recommend DreamBox Learning!
How I Use It
Our students are required to go through 5 lessons a week. We love using DreamBox because it's super engaging and fun; the kids really love it. I can go in and see reports and exactly what they are doing, how long they spent on a page, etc and I can communicate that to the RtI team or parents very easily with their reports.

Very visual and engaging, but no always friendly
Overall I really like this tool, because it allows most students to practice independent skills. I think it could be better if teachers were able to opt students out of certain lessons that don’t fit the standard or the learner.

DreamBox: The Educational Technology That Kids Use Because They Want To
I think it's an excellent teaching tool because students find it very engaging. I like how the activities aren't just fun, but directly related to the skills they need for math. Sometimes it is hard for students to find the activities that I specifically assign in DreamBox.
