Awesome interactive and educational!
I wish that the lessons completed truly meant they understood not completed lessons that need improvement.

Amazing visuals to drive home those abstract concepts!
I wish it had more resources to teach students in a group setting. Or more tools to use when starting a new topic. I love my smartboard and wish I could use it more for Dreambox.

Intuitive to student's needs!
I really enjoy the products ability to adapt to the needs of the learner. It gives a moment for the teacher to help actually teach the student when a misunderstanding occurs instead of dealing with the technology issues. I also really love how accessible DreamBox is to reach. One phone call and I can adjust what needs to be adjusted. Quickly and promptly.

Ok, needs more data
I think there are pros and cons to this program. If the platform had a more informative data situation, I'd like it more. Live data is needed.

Engaging Product
This is a great product that adapts to each child's skill sets. It assists students in laying the foundation that will assist them in other math concepts taught in the classroom. The games are sometimes difficult to understand, but once the students understand how to play, they enjoy them. It is missing explicit instruction, which is separating it from other products.

Students enjoy challenging levels and activities that make them really focus on the topics given. As a teacher, I love having the ability to assign lessons according to individual needs.
I like this a teaching tool because it allows for flexibility. The classroom dashboard also shows how many minutes each student has spent working and how many lessons they have completed. Again, the issue I have is the feeling of "they have to master this skill". In reality, half of my students will not master grade-level skills from Dreambox alone, and the constant repeating of directions can be overwhelming to some of my kiddos. More setting to allow for greater teacher flexibility would be great (timed lessons, control over student screens, less strict requirements for completing a lesson, etc).

Gamification for kids who are easily bored & need to love math again!
Dreambox is a great teaching tool, because you can see where students are lacking, bored, or misunderstanding a concept. You can assign focus areas or have students work at their own speed. Students love the gamification aspect & really enjoy each challenge on Dreambox. It's the best program we have used in second grade!

I think the kids really enjoy dreambox and they love that the games are fun. I think dreambox hits on important concepts tht the students need to know and reinforces skills that the students struggle with. I also like that it is tiered to each student.
I think it is a good tool to use on the side but not a full time situation. Some kids liked it better then others. It adds to helping skills students need additional work on.

Visual Mathematics Builds Understanding and Growth Mindset for Math
I love that mathematics concepts are represented visually, as research shows this is extremely important in deep understanding of math concepts. I also love that it is adaptive and gives good data to the teacher about where students are having success and areas they need more support in. Whenever I play it I get completely sucked in and have to make myself break away. I would like to see more content developed for older grades such as 8th grade.
