Brain Pop is awesome for introducing or reviewing concepts learned in class!
I love Brain Pop! It is a great way to introduce a lesson. The characters really get the students engaged and invested in the lesson. I also like how Brain Pop often addresses misconceptions. I have often hear my kids saying, "Oh yeah! That's what Annie said in Brain Pop!" Brain Pop also offers writing activities, drawing, lesson plans, and short quizzes to go with each lesson. The only thing I would ask more of would be to add more literacy based topics.

BrainPop is a fun and interactive way to introduce or review concepts.
BrainPop explains complex concepts in kid friendly language and maintains student engagement while doing so. Moby and Annie ask questions, answer questions, and provide support for students to learn. The videos are short and a great introduction to topics such as government, grammar, and reading strategies and skills. I would recommend it to any teacher looking to use technology in their classroom.

Engaging material - watch before use, though
BrainPOP Jr. takes material that could be really boring for me to talk about and makes it engaging for students with cartoons that seem well thought out and purposeful. I am able to find videos that align well with our curriculum and standards.
