Perfect for students needing extra support!
I teach first grade but I have several students that are below a first grade learning level and need that extra time that I am unable to offer at all times. This website provides that additional interaction within a target concept and allows students to learn in their own time and move up as needed.
In my classroom, my students that use this love it and think it is fun. I always love a website that teaches students without knowing they are learning. They are so involved in the website they do not realize the content is educational!
Try it! You will not be disappointed!

Great Way to Introduce Letters to Students
I really like that this website is free for classroom teachers. You can also sign up every student in your classroom. This is a great resource. My students love the website and get excited when they hear the beginning jingle. I feel that it really hooks my students on the lesson, and gives them a fun introduction. I use this website with every letter.

Amazing website for Pre-school children to learn reading and math skills.
This is an online classroom that is amazing. It is definitely worth the subscription. I have seen my children grow and flourish. I definitely recommend using it on the iPad instead of the computer because using a mouse is difficult for younger children.

Engaging website that promotes early learning in a variety of disciplines through interactive activities with virtual token based reinforcement system.
This website engages students through use of various interactive games and activities pertaining to language, math, the world, art and colors, music and much more. In this program, the student has an avatar, which can be customized. Many activities are game-like, and the program uses extrinsic motivators in the form of tickets, which allow the student to purchase items from virtual stores. With earned tickets, students can shop for their avatar, buy virtual pets, feed fish and more. The classroom area of the program resembles a typical pre-k/kindergarten classroom, and features centers complete with interactive activities. The white board provides access to the student's learning path, providing a more structured form of learning. The Library hosts a variety of ebooks, and the program has settings which can be adjusted. The animations in the ebooks featuring basic letters are helpful in that they draw student attention to letters, while simultaneously sounding out the letters. Other ebooks include optional highlighting, which advances word-by-word, which is beneficial to young students. Teacher support includes curriculum overviews, class and lesson builders, progress tracking, printables, and "how to" videos. Printables are customizable and provide an additional or alternate resources to support teaching and learning. I like this site because they have found a way to create teachable moments at every click of the mouse.

Great website for differentiating instruction and learning at child specific pace.
If I was an elementary teacher, I would continue using this website in my classroom. The students stayed engaged and loved working through the activities. It was a great way to get students falling behind back on track or close to being on track.

Great interdisciplinary website that allows you to differentiate students' learning and track their progress towards mastery.
I really liked using this site for literacy practice. It is a perfect site for practicing concept of a word for emerging readers! Because you can develop personalized lessons for each student, you know they are working on the skills that are specific to their needs and not just "gaming". I also liked the integration of math, science, and social studies.

LOL: Lots of Learning with ABC Mouse
If I was a preschool or kindergarten teacher, I would use this website for reinforcement and practice of basic skills. I would have them use it individually because it works best when it is individualized. I would also reward students who have mastered skills and objectives the opportunity to use the app for extension, enrichment, and the opportunity to earn more tickets. This website would be great for a computer station. The only concern I have is if it's available for a class purchase instead of individual basis.
