My Take
I teach first grade but I have several students that are below a first grade learning level and need that extra time that I am unable to offer at all times. This website provides that additional interaction within a target concept and allows students to learn in their own time and move up as needed.
In my classroom, my students that use this love it and think it is fun. I always love a website that teaches students without knowing they are learning. They are so involved in the website they do not realize the content is educational!

How I Use It
I use this website for my students that need extra support. When I am in a lesson that is way above some students I put them on ABCMOUSE.com and it gives them the opportunity to explore and learn on their own pace. Students can navigate through a virtual classroom and utilize different centers such as basics, abcs, numbers and applications.
Students can read or be read to and also learn about how to behave within the class setting.
Students with special needs or lacking the beginning skills are able to navigate on this website. The website offers levels from toddler time through preschool and kindergarten.
