A Framework for Digital Citizenship Implementation

Wednesday, February 26, 2020, 12–1 p.m. PST

Successful digital culture-building must be intentional and proactive. Join this edWebinar to learn more about contributing factors that need to be considered when implementing digital citizenship in your school or district. Common Sense Education’s Digital Citizenship Implementation Guide provides a path for a phased framework to help you plan, implement, and evaluate your digital citizenship program. From how to get buy-in, assessing your motivation and needs, instructional plans, educating families, to how to become a Common Sense Recognized School or District, we will discuss different models for digital citizenship implementation. Participants will hear examples from six varied school districts driven by different needs and student populations. Though there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to digital citizenship, you’ll be provided examples and advice that district and school leaders can use at any point in their implementation.

This edWebinar will be of interest to school and district leaders of kindergarten through high school grade levels. There will be time to have your questions answered at the end of the presentation.
