I am a NYC Dept of Education teacher (K-5), Instructional Technology Specialist and adjunct professor at the New York Institute of Technology. I have more than fifteen years teaching experience, including eight years as a staff developer for the Title IID Enhancing Education through Technology grants. This summer, I am honored to be part of the curriculum writing team of the NYCDoE Social Studies Department, writing K-12 SS curriculum aligned to the New York State Framework. My role includes writing social studies curriculum with iPads, my specialty! I have many tools in my digital toolbox, all geared towards empowering students to actively engage in learning. I am an ardent MAC fan and iPad specialist!
