I am a High School English and Biology teacher who has transitioned into Ed Tech research and teaching at Michigan State University. While I pursue my doctorate in Ed Tech/Ed Psych, I also teach courses in the Masters of Ed Tech Program. I am also an active member of my local National Writing Project site, the Red Cedar Writing Project. My research has focused on the use of digital badges and motivation and the role of peer feedback on writing achievement. In my spare time, I write about digital pedagogy, teaching online, productivity, and whatever else seems important at Gradhacker.org.
