For the past 7 years I have been a school counselor at KAPPA III middle school in the Bronx.  I grew up in the Bronx.  I obtained a bachelor's degree in Business from SUNY New Paltz.  I obtained a Master's degree in Bilingual School Counseling from Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus. I am pursuing a Master's Degree in School Building Leadership.   I am a member of the American School Counselor Association and Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.I provide academic, social/emotional and college and career readiness support to students in need.  In my role, I participate in various Professional Learning Communities (PLC) to improve academic and implement programs related to college and career readiness.   I believe that technology, if implemented correctly, helps teaching and learning more meaningful.  I want to become involved in the 21st century learning experience to help students and staff become more confident in the use of technology.
