Erin holds a bachelor's degree in music from the University of Toronto, but it was a lifelong passion for interactive entertainment (favorites include Super Mario Bros. 3, Rock Band, The Elder Scrolls, and Gears of War) that inspired her to pursue a career writing about video games and apps. For almost a decade she has done just that, contributing to publications including the Globe & Mail, Microsoft Home magazine, PC World Canada, Ziff Davis' Pocket Games magazine, Gamezebo.com, and, of course, Common Sense, which she joined in 2007.
