Bio
I am a special education teacher, always searching for new ways to engage my students in learning. Technology has made my life and job richer in so many ways, and I work to bring those opportunities to my students. I currently teach in Allegany County, Maryland.
I have been teaching since 1997, and I have been very blessed in my career to learn as much from my students as I try to teach them! I earned my Bachelor's degree from Towson University, a Master's Degree in Special Education with a Specialization in Autism from West Virginia University, and a second Master's in Educational Leadership from Wheeling Jesuit University.
I am the proud mom of two daughters who are the lights of my life and keep me busy. I am also a mother to a dog, three cats, and two guinea pigs-we have a house not a barn I promise! My husband is my rock, and he is a music teacher so he understands and shares my focus on providing enriching educational opportunities for all students. We are full of love, life, and laughs in our house, and I wouldn't change a thing!
