Bio
Susan Ettenheim earned a BA cum laude from Mount Holyoke College studying Art, Mathematics and Spanish Literature, a MA in Media Studies from the New School University and a MS in Education (Leadership in the Arts, Supervision and Administration) at Bank Street College of Education in a joint program with Parsons School of Design and attended the ITP Program (Interactive Telecommunications) at the Tisch School, NYU.She exhibited paintings and prints in galleries throughout the country and received a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Painting. She has always been involved with the sharing of information from her first job in high school as a page in the Children's Room at the local public library. She worked at Friends Seminary in the Media Center and then in the Internet and cable television industry managing website development and community applications. She is a Certified Google Trainer and Innovator and is active in the Scratch (MIT) community, presenting most recently at the Scratch2016MIT conference.She is excited to share Common Sense Education's resources and contribute to the community.
