I am a Math 9 teacher in Cabell County Schools in Huntington, WV. I graduated from Marshall University with a BA and I am certified in Mathematics Education: 5-Adult. I teach with the Freshman Academy at Huntington High School and this fall will begin my third year of teaching Common Core Mathematics. My professional perspective is that change is necessary and I welcome new ideas and new resources into my classroom. Common Core curriculum has changed the way that I teach math to my students and I believe that technology provides the resources for successful instruction!
