Bio
Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Commerce
I am originally from Edmonton, Canada; however, for the past fifteen years I have called numerous places my home. My degrees were both acquired in Canada; I received my business degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta. Later I obtained my education degree from the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario. My current work experience as a teacher is ten years spread amongst four countries. I spent two years as an English K-1 and K-2 teacher in Taiwan at Summerhill American School. Following Taiwan, I taught for two years as a grade one homeroom teacher in Guatemala at Colegio Interamericano School. After Guatemala, I spent three years in Hong Kong at Delia School of Canada; two years as a grade one homeroom teacher, and one year as the team leader and homeroom teacher in grade six. I am currently living in Singapore and working at the Canadian International School for my fourth year. Two years as a grade six homeroom teacher and this will be my second year as the team leader and homeroom teacher in grade five. My passions in life, not including teaching, are: travel and experiencing new cultures, sports (especially hockey), movies, and reading.
