I'm Josh Ratliff. I'm a Coordinator of Instructional Technology for the West Virginia Department of Education. I'm excited to be a part of the Graphite community. I think we can all agree that passionate and caring teachers have a few things in common....
1) They are busy
2) They need access to technology that is easy to set up and reliable
3) They prefer technologies that foster higher order thinking over technologies that bore children with repetitive, "skill and drill" tasks

Graphite is an excellent solution for teachers to select meaningful technology resources with the above truths in mind. We, as educators, enjoy trying new technology to harness our students' creativity but we do not have time to waste on failing or low quality apps, websites, or games. With Graphite, we can quickly find a technology solution that can be used to teach a given standard and read a review before we ever put the technology before our students! Our prep-time is minimized while our students' learning and creativity is maximized. Genius!
