My 10 years of teaching experience are in middle school math and science. I didn't intend to be a middle school teacher ... but I fell in love with middle school students and the collaborative force of middle school teams! As an educator, I prioritize teaching for understanding. I help students assess their current beliefs - particularly in science - and provide experiences and modeling to allow them change their minds.
