Szymon Machajewski is a seasoned professional in Information Technology and a passionate educator. He had worked as a Senior Solutions Engineer and Database Administrator for Grand Rapids Community College, University of Illinois at Chicago, and consulted as a Senior Software Architect for many other institutions. He contributed code to Open Source initiative and was awarded the Blackboard Catalyst Award in Innovative Development and Community Contribution. He was further recognized with Customer Spirit Award in 2010, and in 2013 an Armen Award for Faculty Innovative Service Learning Project on mobile app development.

Szymon Machajewski holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science and pursues a Ph.D. in Education with eLearning. He has a passion for teaching and using technology to connect the minds of tomorrow's innovators.
