To elaborate:
In a previous life I spent 5 years in the high tech, dotcom sector with Ziff Davis, at the forefront of streaming media. I am in my second year working in the Scarsdale school district, based out of the Heathcote School, after 11 years of teaching for the NYDCOE.

I've taught grades from Kindergarten to High School. We are fully Google Apps and 1:1 Chromebooks in the 5th grade (soon to be 4th too). We blog, build Google Sites, create presentations, research, tweet, and strive to use technology in real-world settings, for real purposes, regardless of age

In addition, I facilitate technology integration professional development sessions, and have presented on behalf of Apple at their SoHo retail store & UFT headquarters, blogged for EducationalIT.com, and am a recurring presenter for SimpleK12. I have presented educational technology session at conferences such as ASCD, FETC, iPad Summit, NYSCATE, and T&L's TechForum.
