I have been an elementary teacher in grades 3-8 since 1978, mostly at grades 4-6. I have a special interest in math and worked as a consultant for Marilyn Burns Education Associates from 1990-2000. In 2003 and 2009 I was a fellow in the UC Merced Invitational Summer Writing Institute and since 2003 have been a teacher leader for the California and National Writing Project. Currently, I am a Teacher-on-Special-Assignment for technology, focused on teaching the Common Core Standards in 1:1 Chromebook and Ipad classrooms for Merced City School District.
