Bio
I'm a veteran social studies and English teacher interested in making school more engaging for students through project-based learning, educational technology, and cooperative learning. I'm interested in using technology to support literacy, specifically writing. I'm a Lead Teacher in the Big History Project, an online, interdisciplinary course for 9th graders supported by Bill Gates. In 2013, I completed my masters in educational technology through Touro University. The subject of my research was using Google Forms for formative assessments. I've presented at the Fall CUE Conference (2013) and Google Apps for Education (GAFE) Summit (2014) in Napa. In 2014, I attended CUE Rockstar Napa and completed the MERIT program at the Krause Center for Innovation at Foothill College.
