As of this year I am an Elementary Literacy Specialist for Oakland Unified School District. For the past several years I was computer lab teacher at Bella Vista Elementary School. I have twenty years of experience teaching grades 2, 3 and 5. In 2010 I became a teacher consultant for the Bay Area Writing Project. I live in Oakland with my wife, daughter and Giant Schnauzer.
