Amanda Bindel has taught students of all ages using a range of educational philosophies. She currently teaches middle school Language Arts at the newest middle school in Round Rock Independent School District in Texas. In the past, she's been an elementary gifted/talented specialist and facilitated a play-based preschool co-op. Amanda received her master's degree in education from Texas State University and BS in journalism from Texas A&M University. She was a proud early adopter and integrator of technology in the classroom and in her personal life -- completing much of her graduate degree via distance education courses online. Her graduate specialization in gifted and talented populations, along with her experience team teaching an inclusion class, led to a passionate belief that technology can be an invaluable classroom tool to help teachers effectively reach students with diverse learning needs.
