My Take

The kids like to compete with each other to see who can get the most lessons done in a week, but I like it because it helps my low kiddos get some additional practice and it helps my high-achievers go as far as they want to. I've challenged my high-ability kids to complete 5th grade by Christmas break or Spring break. One of them wants to complete it by Fall break! Very motivational!!

How I Use It

I've been using Zearn for a year now and I love it! At first, I didn't like how some lessons were taught, but now, I like that it is taught differently than how I teach it. I have each kid keep a Zearn notebook so we can go over it during small group. They have to write about what they learned and what their lesson was about.
