I had been searching for an easy way to create and maintain a class website. This was it! It allows you to post assignments, videos, documents, photos...you name it. The drag and drop format is so simple. Students can navigate the site easily and changes can be made to it in seconds. Students can easily navigate to items applicable for them. Documents, links and videos can be easily added which make it simple to connect with students who were absent or parents wondering what we're up to. It has helped the organizationally impaired student because they can access these documents and information anywhere they can access the web. This application is so easy to use, students can create their own web pages as an assignment or to display work for parent teacher conferences.
How I Use It
I have used it to create my class website. I have pages for each class I teach, as well as, anything I sponsor. I post assignments, calendars and links that can help students study and complete work anywhere they have internet access. I have not had students create their own sites but may explore this next year.
