I felt this product was very successful in my classroom. There were so many activities for the children to do that correlated with the Next Gen standards. I will think of even more uses this year.
How I Use It
I used this app in a million different ways! We read the story using the ipads and the Smartboard,, worked on vocabulary monster cards and created story elements on monster cutouts. The children were easily able to maneuver the app. They wanted to revisit the app the rest of the school year.

This is a well animated read aloud of a beloved children's book.
I feel it is an engaging tool to help with concepts of print, particularly print matching, left to right progression and top to bottom.

Who doesn't love lovable, furry old Grover?
Students delight in Grover's fear of discovering the "Monster at the End of the Book!" Cues for progressing further through the story are appropriate for young readers.
