Great way to add a little humor to directions
Community Review for Tellagami
My Take
I think it is a great way to add a little humor to a classroom. In addition, it is easy to use with students so it is also a great way to allow them some creativity and a taste of animation (Tellagami isn't real animation, but its more robust than something like Voki).
How I Use It
I used Tellagami to create a quick introduction to my classroom. Students enjoyed "seeing" me in a different way and were very interested in full video after having a good chuckle at the animated me.
It is very easy to take a picture of a classroom and add a brief explanation over it. The animated me can be re-sized as needed to bet accommodate the picture.
The app only let you record limited duration clips, but as standalone greeting they aren't plenty. In addition, you can export the finished Tellagami to your iPad Camera Roll and then import it into other apps like iMovie and ExplainEverything to create longer form products with fun, personalized animations.
