My Take

I like that the videos are short and relevant, and the lessons are customizable. These are very helpful for homebound students. The videos can be stopped and restarted as needed.

How I Use It

ed.ted.com is used to supplement lessons. The site has four sections; "watch," "think," "dig deeper," and "discuss." Students watch a very short video, then answer a quiz. They may do some research or join in a discussion using the last two tabs. It helps if students have access to Youtube, however, this can be shown to the entire class, and the quizzes printed out.
Students can also use this site in a blended or flipped classroom.
