My Take
I think this product does a great job of allowing students to see a variety of real world applications of concepts that we talk about in the classroom. Having the opportunity to use this videos in conjunction with discussion questions is one of the keys of this website. Students are able to not only see material explained by a different voice (or voices), but they are given different ways to engage with the material that we may not have directly touched on in class.
How I Use It
Overall I think this product is a great teaching tool that fosters independent (or even small-group) student exploration. I have occasionally used this product in a homework capacity, giving students a guided worksheet for items to look for in a specific movie or even giving students the option to explore a couple of videos and relevant, linked sources. (The latter had a greater impact on student learning and engagement.)
