This app is a good tool for younger student and I recommend it. It offers a variety of activities that help students learn their numbers, colors, letters, and shapes. They also work on counting and phonics. It features the ability to let teachers decide what they want a certain student to focus on and can gear the lesson to their liking. In addition it offers a section to monitor how that student is doing and you will be able to use this data to show parents the growth.
How I Use It
This app would be great to use in a pre-k classroom and for parents at home. It is a great way to introduce all the basics to your student/child interactively. I’m thinking about using it with my toddler and having him work on it 20 minutes a day. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to use it during free play in your pre-school classroom. You could set up a group of students who get to work on it Monday, another set Tuesday and so on.
