Beautiful interface for creating timelines and stories!
Community Review for Sutori
My Take
I think it is terrific. The free version is pretty limited but you can use it. The premium is not too expensive and check for teacher discounts and the ambassador program! There is a bit of a learning curve to using ALL the tools but getting up and running is pretty easy! The ability to add media such as videos and the fact that you can upload audio clips as well would make it work pretty well for ELL students and those with reading differences. Some special ed students might need more support to use this tool, but I think it could be very effective.
How I Use It
I have used Sutori in Middle School Social Studies as well as in my History Club and this year I plan to start using it for ELA. It's easy to use, allows students to embed MANY types of media - they can upload their own artwork or videos, they can embed quizzes, they can put in links... I've mostly used it for historical timelines but there is a terrific abundance of samples of ways you can use it in the library on Sutori. They have an ambassador program that allows teachers a discount on the premium and the support is outstanding. <fair disclosure - I was prompted to write this review by fulfilling the ambassador program however, the glowing review is fair - I really do love it! ;-) > Give it a try - I'm guessing you'll find it well worth upgrading - I will say that the free version is pretty limited - however the yearly cost for premium is not too bad and they offer an educator discount.
