My Take

Sutori is easy to sign in, has simple user friendly interface, thus an Academic can have students ready to use this app almost immediately. I have noticed two things to improve so far (but the Support team said they are working on it):
1) At the moment individual entries have to be attributed to their authors manually
2) There is no chance to copy an entry and paste it to another story

How I Use It

I conduct seminars for EL groups from the different university courses. Sutori keeps my lists of students, thus assigning tasks for various groups or individuals is only one click away. I have found this application extremely useful for writing purposes. I can create a template for an Inquiry/Enquiry Letter for example, add instructions and tips, and ask my students to submit their letters as their individual entries to the timeline. Then I can ask more experienced next term students to do peer-reviews and add their comments. We practice Jigsaw technique a lot trying to be time-efficient and Sutori helps students simultaneously transform all their inputs into one story, which can be presented at the end of the activity by a member from any Jigsaw group. Moreover those students who were absent due to whatever reasons can gain from our class work.
