My Take

For a free site, it's great. It is has basic phonics, but you can also just let them play and create personalized pumpkins. It will keep small people engaged for a class period, but not much more; they figure out eventually that they are learning.

How I Use It

This is the site for early readers, but I also send my new to this country students here too. It starts with the alphabet and words that begin with those letters, and goes up to reading simple stories. I actually keep this site on the screen on Parent Teacher night to keep the little brother and sisters occupied while I talk to the parents of my students. It's adorable.
