My Take
This is a great app for practicing phonics, listening, and reading skills. My students enjoy accessing the free content on both Starfall and Starfall Plus. It helps our students enhance skills that they are learning in the classroom at a pace the fits were they are. That being said, this is not the best resource if you have good readers as they will quickly get bored.
How I Use It
I use this website as a listening/reading (depending on their levels) warmup when my students enter the computer lab. I find that it is especially helpful for our Special Needs students who love the stories being read to them while displaying a highlighter over the spoken words. It is easy for them to navigate to and most of the content is free. I highly recommend it.
