My Take
I feel that the modern "translation" of Shakespeare helps my students more fully understand the beauty of Shakespeare's work.
How I Use It
I read Shakespeare texts in class to ensure that my students actually encounter the material. However, I have found that guiding students to the "No Fear Shakespeare" section on Spark Notes really helps my struggling readers - both those with low reading skills and those who are simply struggling with the Elizabethan language of Shakespeare.

Great tool for assistance with difficult text in classical literature
I utilize this teaching tool for students who have missed direct teacher instruction and need assistance with difficult text. If the ads were removed, it would be easier to focus on text; however, the split page makes it easy to students to compare the classical language with today's language.
