My Take
This is a wonderful tool for the classroom. It offers 3D graphics that bring the material alive. It gives you a plethora of info so I would advise you to make sure you have time to spend to explore all of its nooks and crannies. The videos and celestial features really bring that added bonus to this app. For the price I would definitely get it even just for my own kids.
How I Use It
This is a fantastic site that helps support astronomy in the classroom. I could see using it to supplement and teach new topics focused on our solar system. I love science and am always looking for ways to get the students excited about learning. I feel that by bringing this into my classroom the students would have a new love for astronomy. The 3D graphics help support learning and provide the visual to the topic we are studying at hand. I can see myself using this on a weekly basis in my classroom.
